IKGF Director, Prof. Dr. Michael Lackner, Invited to The Hong Kong Open University as Speaker on the Occasion of the University’s 25th Anniversary

At the invitation of Prof. Tam Kwok-kan, Dean of the School of Arts and Social Sciences of the Open University of Hong Kong Prof. Dr. Michael Lackner was invited to give a lecture on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of The Open University of Hong Kong. On Oct 17, 2014, Prof. Lackner spoke on the topic of “淺談中國文化對近現代的影響 - The Relevance of Chinese Culture to the Modern/Contemporary World“ (lecture in Chinese). The lecture was very well-received, strengthened the good connections between the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg and The Open University of Hong Kong, and will lead to further exchanges in the future.
