Curriculum Vitae
After studying history, literature and sociology, Ulrike Ludwig received her doctoral degree from the Technical University Dresden in 2006 for her work on the shaping of territorial governance in criminal law and in the practice of grace using the example of Electoral Saxony in the period 1548-1648. From 2007-2010, she worked on a research project on the history of the duel in early modern Germany. In 2010, she began to investigate the forms of representation of noble functionaries. Her research interests lie in the field of early modern government and administration, the history of crime and law, and magic practices in these fields.
